Fixed stars Pro

This section finds the stars your planets and house cusps are conjunct, and lets you search the whole catalogue.

Conjunctions

The top table lists the chart point, the star, its designation (α Leo, for instance), magnitude, the star's longitude on the birth date and the orb.

The orb depends on brightness: from 3′ for faint stars up to 14.5′ for the brightest. The small orbs are deliberate. There are a lot of stars, and wide orbs would hand everyone a pile of matches.

Star catalogue

1. Type a name, designation or number in “search”: “Regulus”, “alpha Leonis”, “BS3982”.
2. Set the magnitude limit in “mag. ≤”. The default of 3 keeps only bright stars.
3. The table lists matching stars with their positions for the chart moment (500 rows at most).

If you see “The star catalogue did not load” instead of a table, build the chart again. The catalogue downloads separately the first time.
