Jyotish: Vimshottari and Navamsa Pro

This section adds two tools from Indian astrology. It always uses the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, whatever zodiac you choose in the settings.

Vimshottari dasha

A 120-year system of periods. The first dasha depends on the nakshatra (lunar mansion) the Moon occupies at birth.

  • The first line: the Moon's nakshatra, its ruler, and how many years of the first mahadasha were left at birth.
  • In bold: the current mahadasha and antardasha with their end dates.
  • “All periods: mahadashas and antardashas” expands the full list. Each mahadasha opens into its nine antardashas; the current one is highlighted.

The table lists each planet, its D1 position (sidereal), its D9 sign and a “Varg.” column. Vargottama means the planet is in the same sign in D1 and D9; those rows are highlighted. There's no D9 wheel.
