Progressions Pro
A progression stretches time: planetary motion over a short span after birth is matched to years of life. The best known is the secondary progression, where one day after birth equals one year of life.
Methods in “Forecast”
| Method | Key |
|---|---|
| Progression | Secondary: 1 day = 1 year |
| Tertiary progression | 1 day = 1 lunar (sidereal) month of life |
| Minor progression | 1 lunar month = 1 year |
| Causal progression (1 day = 84 years) | The Uranus cycle, very slow |
| Regression (1 day = 1 year back) | Secondary progression run backward from birth |
Build one
- Open “More”.
- Choose a method in “Forecast”, for example “Progression”.
- Pick the target date in “Forecast for (local)”.
- Click “Build chart”.
The progressed planets form the outer ring. Progressions are cast for the birthplace.
Progression interpretation
For the secondary progression, a “Progressions: interpretation” block appears under the tables. It gives the progressed Moon's sign and house, the progressed Sun's sign, and the date the progressed Moon enters its next sign. The Moon spends about 2.5 years in a sign, and its sign changes tend to be noticeable in life.
Secondary progressions to the natal chart are also in Event search (exact aspects over a period) and on Life arcs.
